Help with Events
We have wide experience in putting on events that engage – from small roundtables to evening talks to day conferences and large-scale events.
We’ve put on Fair Trade, trade, refugee, and climate-related events of our own, worked with churches on a variety of events, and were on the steering group for Climate Sunday.
We love working with churches and groups of churches that have an idea for an event but would like help finding speakers or thinking about how to structure their plans. We’ll work with you to think through a programme, suggest (and if you like, contact) a range of possible speakers, help find worship materials, etc.

Here’s what some of our supporters have to say about our work.
“CCOW are an agent of great hope – as well as for transformation – in the Christ-inspired mission for global justice the whole body of Christ has been called to be part of.
Their resources and awareness-raising inform and challenge many. But for us at the Sanctuary, it is their very essence and presence as a fellow prayerful resourcing organisation on justice issues – and their endlessly affirming encouragement about the worth of our own work – which means the most. Theirs is a generous voice for the voiceless with no other agenda but the people they speak up for and alongside, and a desire to get behind others doing the same. And that makes it a real privilege to pray in unity with them and serve alongside them as we all seek to champion the infinite value of each one in seven billion that God so loves. Psalm 133 describes ‘how good and pleasant it is’ when brothers and sisters are in unity. Every interaction the Sanctuary has with CCOW is ‘good and pleasant’ because the organisation’s heart for God and the world affects how they do their work as well as inspiring what work they do. We are so thankful for their resources, their whole approach and their friendship.” (The Sanctuary Centre)
“[CCOW is] a useful source of well structured information linking the news of the world to the word of God.”

Thank you for producing such thought provoking emails
Iwas very pleased to see such a clear and concise summary of the IPCC conclusions. It is a complicated subject. I think that praying for individual politicians and policy makers to forget party politics and to face up to the implications of this report may be the most vital thing – that has to happen before governments can hope to have genuine and productive discussions.
