Refugee Week 2024
You can find both worship resources and links to a wide variety of other worship resources below. These include links, in the list of online worship materials, to past Refugee Sunday/Sanctuary Sunday service materials provided by a range of Christian groups and denominations. Resources prepared for 2024 aren’t yet out, but will be on the linked pages when they have been released. You can also find inspiration in what is already there.
We will be providing:
- a prayer and prayer PowerPoint
- thoughts for preachers based on the Revised Common Lectionary readings for the day. It’s a day when there are several options for the Old Testament readings: the Psalms in each case (9, 107, 133) have particularly strong connections to the ‘Our Home’ theme
- suggested activities for children and young people
