“Robert Courts MP will be joined by local organisations at an event to signpost support available to Ukrainian refugees and their sponsors.
Robert Courts MP, Member of Parliament for Witney & West Oxfordshire, is hosting a community event for Ukrainian refugees and their host families at the Corn Exchange in Witney on Friday 10th June.
Robert will be joined by local organisations, charities and community groups such as the Citizens’ Advice Bureau, Witney Job Centre and Volunteer Link-Up who will have a stall to explain the support they are able to offer newly-arrived refugees and their sponsors.
This is a unique event that will enable Ukrainian refugees who have recently arrived in West Oxfordshire to meet one another, build bonds and feel warmly welcomed in their new community.
A translator will be present to assist those as required. Refreshments will also be provided.
Attendance is limited to Ukrainian refugees and their sponsors, and it is essential to register your attendance in advance.”
