Described as “the Elizabethan rock’n’roll” at their concert debut in London, Improviso is a young and highly acclaimed period music ensemble. One of the ensembles on the Brighton Early Music Festival Live! Scheme for 2017-18, they have also performed at the Styriarte Festival in Graz, Austria, the Holywell Music Room, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Royal Greenwich International Early Music Festival, the Wigmore Hall and in Bad Liebenwerda, Germany.
Improviso will perform works by G.P. Telemann and Dario Castello alongside their own improvisations.
Tickets are £10 (under 15s £5) and include a one-hour concert followed by tea and cake.
