“Goytom has been involved with KAMA since its beginning, running a very successful ‘Introduction to Eritrean Culture’ evening in October 2018. Now, at an event co-hosted by KAMA Oxford and the Oxford University Amnesty International Society, he will talk about his journey from Eritrea to his new home in Oxford, inviting questions and discussion as he goes. Described as ‘a strange talk with a strange story of being stranger in his own country and being a family in a strange country’, Goytom’s story promises a fascinating insight into his experience of moving across countries and cultures.
The event is on 14th November at 19:15. Entrance is free and open to all interested, the venue is the Gillese Room at Wadham College, Parks Road, Oxford. Prior registration is desired, click here to do so.”
