“The Radcliffe Orchestra will perform in aid of Refugee Resource’s 20th Anniversary on Saturday 9th November at 7:45pm in Tingewick Hall at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
Doors open: 7.00pm
Tickets are £12 ( £10 for concessions)
We hope you’ll be able to join us for what promises to be a wonderful musical evening. We will have an exhibition about Refugee Resource, so recommend that you arrive as soon as doors open at 7pm in order to explore the exhibition before the concert. There will also be refreshments available after the concert.
Concerts have been given by musicians by the staff of Oxford’s Health Services and their friends since 1978. There are three concerts per year, and each concert raises money in aid of one or more medical charities. The orchestra plays a popular classics programme and this concert is a delightful selection of favourites:
Beethoven: Overture Leonora 1
Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto ( soloist Edgar Bailey )
Faure: Pelléas and Mélisande Suite
Brahms: Variations on a theme of Haydn
We hope to see you there to celebrate Refugee Resource and enjoy a great evening of music.
