Now you can try another family challenge, the Great Village House Hunt, deciphering clues to the house names on a circuit around the village. Most clues are anagrams (jumbled up letters) or have missing vowels. A few are cryptic clues.

The event is planned for Easter Saturday, April 3rd, Covid restrictions permitting. You can register at any time between 10 am and 3 pm by the phone box gallery opposite the Red Lion, and complete the trail at your convenience. It might take between one and two hours. Those emailing a correct final answer before April 10th have the chance of a small prize. The registration cost is £5 per person or £10 for a family.
