Care for creation offers opportunities for churches and community groups to engage more closely with each other. In the morning, Alice Hemming, project coordinator for Oxfordshire’s Community Action Groups, will lead members of both in a workshop to explore: Who are the community groups in our area? What are they doing? What would community groups like to see from the churches? What do churches have to offer?

The afternoon will be led by Jo Musker-Sherwood of Hope for the Future. Hope for the Future is doing groundbreaking work on how to develop constructive relationships with local councillors and MPs, with a focus on local and wider environmental issues. Jo will lead an interactive workshop, helping people to strengthen engagement that’s already happening … or start new engagement.

The event is free: all are welcome. Lunch provided for those attending for the full day.
