“A talk by Emily Dugan (award-winning independent journalist who was brought up in Brightwell cum Sotwell) about her book ‘Finding Home’. “An honest, unflinching portrait of ordinary people, all immigrants to the United Kingdom, struggling with extraordinary obstacles to find somewhere to call home.’’
Emily is the daughter of David Dugan who gave a talk for us last year about the TV programme his film company made about the journey Captain Blythe was forced to make after the mutiny on the bounty. It was an excellent talk and we are sure that Emily has the same (if not better!) talent at captivating an audience!
