CAFOD Portsmouth is looking

CAFOD Portsmouth is looking for schools volunteers.

They write: CAFOD is very much dependent on volunteers to help us reach young people in schools to develop their understanding of the causes of global poverty and injustice. Young people are a potentially powerful force for change and CAFOD can open young people's eyes to many opportunities of bringing hope to the human family.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic people to deliver lively, interactive and thought provoking presentations about our work and our mission in the Portsmouth diocese. Each volunteer undertakes two days training and is CRB checked. They are also given ongoing support and training as well as a full range of materials to assist with delivering presentations and lessons in schools.

A CAFOD brochure explaining the schools volunteer programme is available above for download.  For more information, contact portsmouth@cafod.org.uk.
